The goal of this module is to give the engineer a better understanding on how and why various geosynthetics provide benefits in both subgrade stabilization and base course reinforcement applications. The module focuses on the use of high strength woven geotextiles and geogrids, and their interaction with soil and aggregate to form solid platforms for better, more cost effective road construction.
