Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRM’s) are RECP’s designed for extended field use in more demanding applications than the standard Erosion Control Blankets (ECB’s).  You will learn the key factors of TRM’s as well as their primary purposes.  The various types of TRM construction as well at the physical properties are reviewed and related to how these are used in the field.  This module also will guide you on installation techniques, which are unique to TRM’s.
